“Now that was more like it! The weather today (compared to the weather last year) was much more like Deb — sunny and warm! You organizers did a beautiful job on a beautiful tribute to a truly beautiful person. Thanks to all of you organizers for giving us the opportunity to celebrate heroes like Deb!”
For the second annual Debbie Ann 5k, we ran the event it back to the beautiful Swartswood State park in Stillwater, NJ.
The proceeds from the event went to support the Red Cross 'Heroes Campaign'. On our volunteer staff we had Newton Red Cross volunteers for assistance with race related logistics.
We had access to picnic areas, grills, tables, and a more social atmosphere for everyone who came and enjoyed their Sunday with us.
